    Hi,

Have just updated from free version to paid version. The free version was enough for me to calculate the price, but I needed to get some additional information from the customer on their requirements. Couple of questions:

    1. When I edit the calculator, I don’t see any option for theme aside from the default (which is probably ok, but expected to see a couple)
    2. How can I increase the size of the text fields so that the customer can comfortably enter in a larger amount of text? Ideally, it would be good to use some of the real estate under the product image also…
    3. I’d like to add a brief description for each question either by using an info icon or by adding the Field ‘Description’ text above the input box. How can I achieve this?

    Hi Tim,

You can find other themes in: “wp-content/plugins/woo-price-calculator/themes”. These are just examples of themes.

To use them, you need to copy them in: “wp-content/uploads/woo-price-calculator/themes”. Using custom themes you can directly overwrite the default WPC appearance using HTML/CSS that you want. After you copied them, they will be available in the calculator dropdown field.

Obviously you can create your custom themes.

I think you can solve question 2 and 3 by using custom themes.

    Best regards,

    Thanks for the reply,

I’ve ended up creating the following theme, after a crash course… However, the price in the product page no longer dynamically updates. If I change themes, it does though. Can you let me know what I may be missing?

Live page can be viewed here: http://mixwizard.online/index.php/product/song/

    Hi Tim,

It’s better you copy the uikit example file: “example_uikit.php” and you try to edit it step by step.

To start, just try to copy the uikit example as it is, and check if it works.

If it works, just edit it as I said. If doesn’t work let me know and I will help you to make it works.

    Best regards,
    Enrico
