In addition to the other topics, is it possible to filter a list depending on which product is being ordered (without making multiple lists)?
In example; a menu list of 50 paper types: product A should be able to choose between all items but product B should only have the ability to choose between a few items.
So maybe the possibility to select a product per item in a list? IE: item 1 is visible in product A + B + C, item 2 is visible in product B + C, item 3 is visible in product A + C, …
The main problem is we’re going to have +- 50 different products, all calculated from the same .xls sheet but with different parameters. I want to filter those parameters more depending on which product is being ordered, it’s for example not possible to order paper-list-option 1 for product B so I would to like filter away option 1 when product B is being ordered/calculated and this for all different categories…
Would be great to have an extra option in the list item where you can allow an item to be selected for a specific product!
Hi Didier Van Uffelen
Anyway, if all posts regard the same project it is strongly suggested you use only one thread or, even better, use the “contact us” form at link https://altoswebsolutions.com/contact-us
Proceeding the work you can use the Unified Messaging Mailbox as suggested by our ticket owner.
I’m confident that our specialist could be the right person to decide if one problem does not collide with another one because he knows how the software is built.
So the same logic could be applied to both problems. You need to create two (or more) different input fields, with different items and show/hide the right field using conditional logic. In your Excel file you should provide for each different input field a cell. When cell is not used by the calculator a “0” is written inside the cell. When cell is used by the calculator the selected field value is written instead (In this way you can recognize which of the fields is shown/hide).
