Bug in Variation SKU mapping

I began first test todya and identify a first bug:

Wahn activating Wooprice, price range of – at least – Variable product and chained product chow a range price R$1 – R$1 instaead of correct price range.

See on attached GIF:

Note that we use in single-product page the following product types:

• Simple
• variable products
• Bundle produtcs
• Chained products
• Force-sell product
• Synced Force-sell product

Bug could be caused by a conflict with one of the listed plugin. But previous version was working correctly. So i am quite sure problem is in new Wooprice version.

Other bug:

We are using Swatch plugin:
When activated, Calculator do not succeed in getting variation SKU
When desactivated, seem to work fine but
->Calculator do not load Variation SKU for the default variation defined
->Calculation is very slow.

Some more inputs:

1/ Slowdown:
Checking newrelic: wooprice is causing slowdown. (newrelic screen shot attached)
I also wonder if Wooprice could be the reason for slowing down the whole site, even on pages that do not have calculator ?
May i have to prevent loading of some script in pages where Wooprice is not active ? Could it be automatic to avoid this (if happens) ?

We may make a call to check all that as this could be a bit tricky and i may supply additional inputs.

2/ From-To price disappear
As i am using variable product, i expect to get from / to price range working.
As a matter of fact some user may wish that other not. May be an option ‘show” from/to prices for variable products.

Hello Matthieuh,

WPC starts working when there is at least one product in the page. If you have at least one product, WPC will start working.

In general the slowness of WPC depends on the “size” of the Excel file, and on formula errors (For example a formula with C10000:D1000000 is a problem).

Anyway I will analyze the problem for you:

– The slowness
– Price problem on Shop page
– Swatch plugin problem.

I’m trying to access the website “debugawstemp.kinsta.com”, but It says that the browser can’t find it.

I need a test environment to check these problem.

Hello Matthieuh,

Here is a recap of the problems:

– Swatch plugin: The problem has been solved, so that WPC can check when the current variation has changed. Please check again carefully your’re Excel file as could be some problems anyway.

– Price problem on Shop page & Slowness: They are related somehow. There are two solutions that will fast you webiste:

a) If you check the product here you will notice it’s much fast to open now: https://debugawstemp.kinsta.com/loja/papel-de-parede-bichos-do-brasil-2

And you will see the prices. I’ve enabled the new feature “Cache Shop Product List” from the Settings of WPC. This new feature will cache the only prices for preview elements (List of prices in Shop/Related products).

b) You can gain more speed if you simply your Excel file as you have one sheet which has about 500 rows, this of course slowdown the calculation a lot.
